Yoga is not only about being flexible.
It keeps the life force flowing.
There are several studies that prove Yoga is highly beneficial for our well being.
This is a first study of it’s kind which revealed significant changes on genetic level in individuals who practiced yoga or similar practices. After just 1 session for some, or 8 sessions for others, gene alteration took place in a positive way in which 900 immune promoting genes were activated and 700 inflammatory genes were de-activated. This shows that Yoga and other similar practices are powerful in boosting overall health on a genetic level. Yoga should not be seen as a complementary but as a serious practice that has a mayor impact on health on a cellulair level diseases.
Below article aims to summarize the current knowledge of yoga practice and its documented positive effects for brain
